Designer Andrew Chase’s mechanical cheetah seems straight from Transformers. The whimsical cheetah seems poised to move above ground, and is a part of Chase’s ongoing Timmy project, which also features a giraffe and elephant. The fully-articulated cheetah is 61 cm (24 inches) high and 127 cm (50 inches) in length. The steampunked cheetah replicates the joint’s movements of its flesh and blood counterpart.
Sneaker-wise, 2009 is shaping up to be a very productive year for Mr. Kanye West. In November 2008, we learned that the highly-anticipated Nike Air Yeezy will be released in March 2009. In addition, Mr. West unveiled his Louis Vuitton Don earlier today (releasing in June). Both sneakers have been receiving rave reviews and are considered sneakers to look out for in ‘09.
